High School students are trained to serve as mentors to Middle School students using the Start Something curriculum written by the Earl and Tiger Woods Foundation. The curriculum focuses on setting goals, building leadership skills, improving family and peer relationships, developing teamwork and contributing to community life.

Group Processing Trust Walk Relationships
Social
skills are a major area of development during the adolescent years.
Youth in particular, but especially those with Asperger Syndrome (an
autism spectrum disorder), struggle with who they are and how to find
their place in the social world. Flying Horse Stable offers
individual or group sessions for adolescents with Asperger
Syndrome.
Working with a horse as a partner has shown significant results for the
adolescents who have been involved in the program. Outcomes have
shown marked improvement in the interpretation of nonverbal
communication, becoming part of a group, and improved understanding of
social interactions.
"I've never been part of a group before."
Programs that focus on relationship building are offered to local youth groups. Some of the organizations participating in youth activities include: Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, 4-H, church youth groups and others.
