        Children and youth who raise funds for Horses for Joy will earn an afternoon filled with a variety of horse activities
        such as:
        - Round pen activities to build a relationship with a horse
        - Leading a horse as a partner through an obstacle course
        - Grooming and caring for a horse
        - Games on horseback

Start Something High School Program - in partnership with the horse
Developed by Target & the Tiger Woods Foundation, this program generates measurable improvements in students' self-esteem, goal setting abilities and attitudes toward learning. It inspires youth to believe they can act on their dreams, make a difference in the community and realize their potential.

Cowboy Poetry Middle School Program - in partnership with the horse
Developed by Strides to Success, this program is not about poems. It is about using cowboy imagery and ideals to teach core values and life lessons. The program uses cowboy stories and activities to develop respect, creative thinking, and imagination through commitment and hard work.
